Thread: Jedi in the Combat Upgrade

The Devs learned from past experience that if they say its going to be one way very early on, then gets changed later people raise a big fuss over it and cry "nerf" on things that never existed in the game in the first place. I do want more info but I understand the need to make sure the system is actually in place before giving full info. It doesnt effect our game right now if we dont know whats going to happen in a couple months.
Hopefully when the Beta begins and many more of us can test things, we will be able to ensure things are going to be the way they need to be for the game overall.
They exercised good judgment in pub 9 by encouraging the Jedi to take part in the Testing. I'm not going to bust out the torch yet. They always hold back to build up the anticipation to some great orgasmic post and everyone /cheers!! and is happy again.
I just find it insulting but yes you nailed it. If they posted an tentative outline I dont see how anyone could complain..they complain anyhow so that isnt fixed. Its like they don't want any imput because they are gettign paid and they are the professionals. Things would just work better if they were a part of the team.
My fellow Jedi,
I know that everyone has many questions about the upcoming Combat Upgrade and the effect it will have on Jedi. However, I am restricted in how much I can reveal about it based on what has been announced so far, the same as all correspondents are. This is nota matter oftrying to hide information from everyone, but due to the fact that many things can andwill change during the testing of the Combat Upgradeit is better tolimit what is discussed in order to avoid confusion. The fact is while there may be answers at this time to some of your questions, they may not be the correct answers any moreby the time the CU has gone through testing and is actually released.
With that being said, I am going to try my best to culminate informationhere pertaining to Jedi in the CU that has been announced so far. Please be aware that due to the extremely restrictive nature of the NDAI will not be able to answer your questions at this time. Please try to remain patient as we wait for new information to be posted by the devs andrest assured that I am trying my best towatch out for our communityin the Combat Upgrade.

What will happen to the Jedi Healing Tree?
With the lose of use of both mind in action in jedi since we will only require force, this makes healmind and heal action 1 and 2 pointless as well as heal self all 1 and heal self all 2. Any chances of combining two of the trees such as defense and healing?

Anyway 4xxx in healer i would imagine will undergo some major changes as heal allself and , heal mind and action will be useless

SG, i know the nda does not limit my question: Is any regard being given to other correspondents who are blatantly breaking the NDA (just read the commando correspondent doing it a sec ago...at least Tanks only BORDERS on doing it)? I feel like we are being penalized since you actually have some morality and self-restraint
Unfortunately, that doesn't really benefit anyone and only serves to hurt the communities more, imho. I understand that it's frustrating for everyone that they don't have answers right now, but what's really important is that I am very active behind the scenes in the correspondent forums trying my best to insure our interests are protected.

SonGouki, I would like to echo Rhayven's question. Please can you raise the issue of the correspondent's who have been breaking the NDA with the Developers.
One question i do have though, which you may or may not be able to answer: Will all the server have a "TC" version for the CURB beta or will those with jedi at least have a "special" TC to do some testing with our profession?

Fair enough SG, i agree that many of the correspondents have put the communities in bad positions due to their actions.
