Is it worth keeping the x4xx Defender line just for the +12 innate armor? Or should I pick up some other line? Will I notice a difference between 34 innate armor and 22 innate armor?
Currently my template is MLS, Defender 4440, Enhancer 3002, Healer 4000

I was wondering the same thing, especially the argument with 444x defender versus 4x4x def/34xx enh. Even with the broken ranged def, is it that worthy? Seems like a dead tree to me.

IMO, if you need innate armor from either def or enh. If you choose FA2, then only get def 0040 . . .

first you need to see if they are going to fix the issue or leave it broke.

/agree
I am from now on making zero changes to my template until the FRS is back and / or the devs fix this. Not going to waste any more time grinding a template change to compensate for current "weaknesses". Just not worth it.

These kinds of things are why FOTM happens, stick with what you like best and works for you, 44xx is good for the armor if you don't want to waste force using force armor or if your FC on your LS sucks.
