Thread: Entertainer Buffs dont help when saber crafting...do they?

Ive been hearing that entertainer buffs dont help with saber crafting due to the fact that jedi is not a "crafting class" and therefore does not recieve the bonus.
Anyone know if this is true or not?
The devs did state that this buff also effects lightsaber crafting though i have yet to try it so i can only assume it does.
damn is that 2% the max? i thought someone was sayin something like 10% assembly or exp or resoures...if its 2% then yea it aint gonna do much.
my saber hilt is coming out 150-250, 95 sac and im wondering if the buff will bump me up a bit more. if it ups effectivness enuff then maybe i can throw that point into damage, and maybe itll up damage too....but im guessing it aint gonna do jack sh_t
I have crafted several hilts.
I have found that if you have a WS buff (how the heck did you find a entertainer that was not AFK? You should be buying lottery tickets!), there is no difference.
I have crafted with no buffs of any kind, and get a reasonable amount of amazing successes on the experimentation. I always cap the stats on assembly.
Taking pyollian cake doesn't help, port helps the ratio of amazing successes in experimentation.
a weaponsmith tool kit doesn't help
On an amazing success experiment I can get 49 base FC, and 101 base SAC. the problem is that i can get the same on a good, or even a marginal success. it only changes when I get some type of failure. I get the exact tsame thing every time.
So, in essence, nothing works.
I am waiting to get my hands on a LS exp suit, and then we'll see what the extra points do for me.
yea the crafting is weird. not sure if its broke but definately weird.
amazingassembly doesnt seem to change the statsvery much. ive made several hilts with these stats:
95sac, base speed, and 149-249, 150-249, 150-250.
....the difference comes from the amazing. if i get lucky using the same crafting method, theamazing slightly bump it, but not much.

Depends on the stats of your resources really. If they are nealry capped out then a +2% is not going to really help much. Also, remember that some stat capson someresources are not always 1000.
My resources can't be capped because the lowest SAC I can get with or without the buff is 96.

95 seems to be the hard cap over all for SAC. With the best resources to ever spawn on Naritus I can only hit 96 SAC, and that is with 3 points left over.
Have tested in the past, putting the last 3 points or indeed a full 12 points in to Eff do nothing at all past 96 on my server.
I see people say "use a +43 station" but the max is +45.. I have a 44.86 station at my house that i used for a while as an artisan... why would i not use it? or is it something special about a +43 station?
