Thread: Just bought RollerCoaster Tycoon but I don't want to build an amusement park.....

And yes, I am one of the ones who loves playing my Jedi, but I am not fond of PvP.
Hey Bro, I am not that bitter. I was really only trying to be light-hearted. I can understand someone not wanting to PvP but it is an intended game mechanic of jedi. I won't go over the ways to not be forced into jedi vs. BH as they have been stated before over and over and over. Sorry if you took offence but I just don't understand the argument against PvP with a jedi.
tru, but pre-CU there wasnt NEAR as many BH as there r now, being BH is the most played proff now...its just annoying to get 6-8 BH in 2 hours for me, 1 or 2a night and id be happy
Again, everyone has seen the arguments to not getting hunted and I won't go over them again. I was trying to be a bit light hearted. Sorry if it was an offence.

Actually, until the Knight trials (which are offline, so this means everyone right now), Jedi was supposed to be, in SOE's words, "Primarily PvE," with Bounty Hunter attacks to control "Jedi who are highly visable or careless with their powers." When you hit the rank of Knight and accept the knight trials, that's when you're supposed to become a primarily PvP prof.

I a better statement would have been - "I just bought RollerCoaster Tycoon but I don't want to build Jurassic Park"
The problem is Jedi has changed and the game has changed. A forced PvP encounter with a BH now is nothing like it was either pre-Cu or during the first months of CU. The rules have changed. So I think it's perfectly legimate for people to complain about forced PvP. Forced PvP now is nothing like it was pre-cu. Combat was usually short and sweet now we have marathon encounters which can take over an hour or more to complete. Some people will like the change others won't, but it is certainly legimate for players to make their opinions known and offer suggestions for improvement. Those who like things as they are now are free to argue that no further changes be made.

im guessing youve never had a tkm/bh come for u pre-cu...u were almost guarenteed to lose your xp unless u were near full temp..and even then it would be a tough battle...i didnt really see ppl asking for this change then...so why is everyone wanting pve jedi now?
