Ok up front I have not been in hunted in weeks, nor have I lost XP.

I am full template.

So here is my content suggestion, When a BH succesfully kills a Jedi, lets say a Dark side jedi, then that BH gets placed on a Dark Side revenge terminal, Dark side only Jedi can pull missions on same BH for the exact reward amount the BH earned, say 215k if the Jedi wins, the BH losses 215k in credits and is disgraced by the BH guild wheres that BH can not take a mission for a short period of time, say 1 - 2 hours.

This gives the content a 2 way street, BH has Jedi for content, and we have BH for Content.

If you do not like the suggestion, please explain why in a constructive manner.

heck no. No bh will go for that. Currently jedi = risk, bh = reward. Give bh some risk with their reward and they would all scream like the rest of us do to get rid of the jedi bh wars. LOL

Too often players and the devs have a mindset that professions should be balanced with 1 on 1 pvp in mind. This mindset is ruining the game. The benchmark for balance should be determined by the role a profession plays in a group setting. As long as the current mindset continues we will never see uniqueness among the professions, nor will we ever see individuality within a given profession. We will never see the SWG universe expanded as the focus will only ever be balance pass after balance pass after balance pass.

it just doesnt make sense... who would pay a jedi to hunt a BH?

also BH are not able to keep thier defences up at all times.. and would be easy pickings for a Jedi with cloak.. a Buffed up BH is a match for an unprepared full temp jedi IF he knows what he is doing - however a Buffed up jedi can slay an unprepared BH in a few seconds.. its a one way street im afraid - BH hunt jedi not the other way round...

It doesnt make sense. A jedi would not hunt a bh for money because then they would be nothing more that a bh with a glow stick. However jedi would definately track down, apprehend and kill a murderor of fellow jedi and a sith would definately go and seek revenge. Make mission just for the sake of that role play aspect with no reward other than making bh think twice to come out and fighting a jedi in the first place. Of course a bh would never go for that like i said because they are all about the reward with out the real risk.

That is my point, if a Jedi is murdered then other Jedi's will seek revenge (Sith) or capture (light) the BH. BH's would not agree, the same as Most Jedi wouldnt agree to being hunted by BH's.

I know what you are trying to do, but your logic is flawed. If you remember sith really don't have any loyalty to each other, they look at the death of another sith as a chance to improve their status. Why do you think the Dark Jedi have to kill each other using the FRS to increase in rank. I know that the concept of roleplaying has been killed in this game, but a Jedi hunting a BH is far out in left field, almost as much as a CM being able to beat any other prof in the game. A jedi views himself above the status of a BH, and they would think it petty to go hunting after a guy for revenge. I know a lot of the (carebear) Jedi out there would love to see BH's get nerfed or PVE only Jedi, but it just doesn't make sense to have a Jedi and run around fighting NPC's all day, you can do that with the mass amount of Star Wars video games floating around out there today.

yup i know what youre getting at too. Bh does not need risk with their reward. No body that has a bh would go for this. As i said jedi = risk, bh is all reward. The only risk a bh has is item decay from loosing which the jedi suffers also with the addition of xp loss. So the question is do you think bh should have any more additional risk involved in thier profession? And do you currently have a bh toon?

I think he does, his tag says so. But yeah BH needs that risk vs. reward. How about if a BH losses to a jedi he/she has mission for that BH losses acces to BH terminals for a few hours, since they not losing money like in my OP lets say 6 hours

If a Dark Jedi failed to defend himself from anything he would be "disciplined". They would be given a change to regain their honor in some way.

As for light Jedi they had no such strategy except to bring it in front of the council.

So many stupid people are still alive because it is illegal to kill them.
Anyone who says, "Trust Me" can not be trusted.
It is not what you are killing but what you are allowing to live.

There should be more risk, but you are forgetting one very important fact. Jedi get another character to play with that is a non-jedi, so essentially if you feel you have too much viz then you log in with your "free" toon that is given to you when you get Jedi. You can hideout for several days or months if you like. As a normal Elite profession I don't get a second character, so thus I would have to basically not play the game if I didn't want to fight. But I like PVP, and I really liked the GCW until the JEdi system killed it. Yes I am a MBH, and I hunt Jedi, I don't talk trash when I beat them, I don't whine when I lose. Most of the time the fight takes so long, that we end up laughing about it afterwards.

The only thing I could think of for more risk for BH's is an increase in the percentage of decay we get when we die to a Jedi, so a Jedi death would yeild 10 - 15% decay depending on the level of the jedi. See, one thing Jedi don't realize is it costs a lot of money to hunt you guys, millions for high resist armor, Foods, Spice, paying a smuggler for slices, stims, and millions for a low sac high damage weapon. So, once we have gotten all that you are in the hole several million, and decay of 5% sucks, if I lose to 10 jedi all my stuff is at 50% condition not including battle decay.

It's not that easy to just start hunting Jedi and have success, it takes some planning and effort to prepare, and hopefully some skillful crafters exist on the server to make good enough foods and equipment. Trust me increasing decay is more than sufficient and easy to implement.

Your right we get a second toon becuase Jedi are forced into PvP, I can further argue that our grinding for our rewards is many times worse then BH grinding, at least was for me when I was grinding my old jedi many moons ago before CU was even thought of.

Getting another toon has nothing to do with jedi and PVP. We got another toon because it was the simplest way to handle unlocks by the developers way back. When they got a better system much later (village), they had to give people another toon also so they would not complain about all the old timers.

Well said! Id give up my other toon just so i can play jedi.
