Thread: Does anyone know how pearls and crystals fit into the new system? (need info from the devs)

well just to correct you
range need from 1-6 enhancments for there wepons and jedi need 4 enhancments
but yes i agree it should be avalible

yeah, but most of the ranged enhancements drop in stacks. Cant say that for crystals/pearls. Plus the whole random tuning thing is a pain in the butt.

Post CU I've tuned over 100 fair-good crystals, and 30-40 good pearls, and my saber has a crappy 600ish max damage. This is not balanced with jedi being a "normal" profession. The devs need to know that the old pearl system won't work in the new CU unless premiums are readily available.
The info I have picked up is speculation based on what I've read in the devs and other forums. What I understand is 1)Yes, we still need to tune pearls/crystals. 2)The damage is less dependent on said crystals/pearls. Keep in mind this is just speculation based on what I've heard explained so far. TC feedback would be nice.
Questions that remain 1) Do we still need 4, more/less? 2) Are flawless/premiums coming back?
