I've read a number of posts now the cat is out of the bag & I can't say I am going to quit or that I am disappointed. After months of trying to get it right by SOE LA has decided enough is enough! With the new changes I am very excited about the future of the game. Having been a life long Star Wars fan I welcome the intervention of LA & look forward to an exciting game future.

With respect Saul, you're what psychologists call an enabler.
This was the SAME sort of talk that accompanied CU, and just about every stealth nerf and change.
And now [SWEET VINDICATION (that CU and these changes were bad since it needs to be replaced) aside] it's being changed again.
I have a question: not just for Saul, but for ANYONE out there thinkign we "shouldn't be hasty" or that we should "give the changes a chance":
HOW LONG and HOW MANY?
HOWLONG do we have to wait before we move beyond BETA and have a game?
HOW MANY chances does SOEget? How many times are we going to be battered and black-eyed BOTH in-game and in the public eye [the smear job on the anti-CU's anyone?] and say, "They don't mean to hurt us and jack us out of month-years of subscription fees. They love us, they're just having a hard time right now. They'll change!"

As for the constant conspiracy theories that have graced these pages I can only say some had it right & some did not! As for all you full temp Jedi like me accept the changes & usher in the new players who will come into the game. As for the politics of the SOE/LA camp accept certain things have now came to light. Accept that LA did not like the direction the game was going, accept that LA have listened & stepped in on your behalf. Accept that Jedi will become a starting profession & have fun respecing or regrinding you're second slot.
Accept the fact that you're not just an ordinary player you're a Jedi & in the history of MMO's you achieved one of the hardest challenges in any present or future MMO. Now when the changes come & you sit blue glowy watch all those new players come into Coronet think of the challenges ahead, smile with wisdom as you see them start the path towards greater things! The force is an infinite mystery & is constantly changing, with this knowledge comes peace of mind. Now settle yourself down & accept that you have played a part in the history of not just SWG, but online gaming itself.
You're all greater than this so accept the changes & never forget change can also be a greater force for good!
May the force be with you all

he isnt crying you nub he is stating the facts. Guaarr Came on to vent last night and explained it very easy. LA got pi$$ed off because all the complaints and went to soe and said listen this this and this has to be done in 2 weeks or YOU are done. So in my opinion this game will rock, just there being to vague. I think there will be some diversity but not a lot, but hey its like pre-cu if you think about it not to much diversity among jedi there imo. And you all need to stop your whining and if you want to quit, quit if not then accept the changes.

I think this is more LUCAS's(lucasarts) doing than SOE.
I will still be playing.

They get however many chances you will give them.
Simple solution to this, you don't like it and your tired of it, hit the cancel button.
that's all there is to it.
