Hey, iv come back to the game after a couple of months, and needed some answers...
Is there still death penalties for Jedis??
Do you still have to start ALL over if you die 3 times (think it was 3 times)
what happens when you die? thanks everyone

You lose xp if you die.
You don't have to start over if you die 3 times.

no perma-death only xp loss from death & BH death (instant loss)
e.g. you lose 200k from a BH instantly and if you get rezzed only 200k lost but if not there goes another 200k down to a total of 400k

that was the old system Gohma. It changed a bit ago. if you die you lose 50k if you have a tier one box or less, 100k if you have a tier two box, 150k if you have a tier three box, and 200k if you have a tier four box. all of those are on a clone, so if you get rezzed by a doc you lose no XP. so if you're saber 0011 you lose 50. if you're saber 0041 you lose 200k.
when you're killed by a BH you lose xp on the deathblow equal to however many jedi skill points you have spent times two. so if you have 100 points in jedi skills you lose 200k. if you have 226 jedi skill points you lose a bit more than 500k on the death blow. after that you can still lose the experience from above when you clone.
so a pull template jedi would lose about 700k of jedi xp if he's killed by a bounty hunter and then has to clone.

Hello all,
I just reached Jedi Padawan last night, and have spent quite a bit of time here reading the posts and the FAQ(s), but I have some really basic questions that I can't find the answers to.
Ok, so I've got my padawan robe, and a noob lightsaber, and I can put up the "Jedi Padawan" label over my name... now what?
I can't seem to use my lightsaber at all. When I try to attack something I get a message about not being able to use that skill while wearing armor. But here's the thing... I'm not wearing any armor! I'm wearing: formfitting undershirt, thin striped pants, a necklace, a wedding ring, and a backpack.
The other thing that really confuses me is that I still have all my old skills. I thought those would be lost when I became a Jedi, and that I'd be able to work on Jedi skills.
And one last thing... assuming I ever do figure out how to attack something with my saber, and earn a Jedi xp or two, where do I train? Force shrines? The villiage? I really have no clue.
Thanks in advance for the help. I'm a little dissappointed to be honest that I wasn't able to find a "noob" section in any of the FAQs.

Unequip one item at a time until you find the clothing that is causing the issue. And I am almost willing to bet it is the backpack.

For the saber attacks: try to swing the saber in your undies, if it works, try to put on one piece of your clothing and see if it still works - process of elimination
If you cant swing your saber in your undies, contact a CSR.
For the skills: No, you dont lose your skills. You have to actively drop them to gain a few skill points you can put into Jedi skills should you not have enough skill points to learn your next Jedi skill.
For the trainer: "/findmytrainer"
