Thread: If FRS were to comeback with no FC would you accpet it (Poll)
I agree but I’ve always liked the idea of perhaps working it in a similar way to the current BH missions, for example go to the force shrine pick up a Jedi mission on another Jedi (player character) or indeed a enemy of the Jedi/Sith council, or even BH (player character) more content for BH toons to be always ready for a fight. This would eliminate the FC activities which in hindsight was a terrible idea and was going to be exploited for implantation.
Obviously its not quite as simple as that you would need some kind of warning system to alert the BH as its not really fair we have the first hit plus no exp/decay loss that’s why Jedi run half the time, plus other fine tuning.
Just my 2 pence worth.
Personally, I would not accept a FRS that had as its basis 1 on 1 PvP. The system needs to be accessible to all - where everyone can eventually progress to the top ranks. I am a MLS / Master Powers Jedi and I know my limits - I can't stand toe to toe against another Jedi and my best chance is to attack my opponent when he is least ready. However in a purely PvP system, I would get totally eaten - certainly when competeing with Master Defender / Enhancers at the lower levels - if I am able to make it to the higher levels, I would probably kill myself with force feedback - lol!
I think a hybrid PvP / PvE system needs to be put in place where your ranking in the FRS is calculated from your performance in one or the other or both.
If not then people will obviously migrate to a handful of templates just to compete and how exciting would that be?
