Definitly the thing to do now hope the devs listen the person who made up the idea should really try and contact the devs and enforce there idea.

although i love jedi, i may have to pick the mandolorian if it was a choice, those dudes rock

These really are good suggestions... Especially in including the villiage as a gateway to all of these options, which would keep the system fair. I think that it would be a huge amount of work for the developers to try to implement plus balancing several 'alpha-type' classes would be a nightmare, but at the same time, this provides an EXCELLENT outlet for players that simply want to be uber, instead of wanting to be Jedi.

I love these idéas (especially the Mandalorian one), right now I'm heading for Jedi but if there was a Mandalorian option I would definately choose that path instead, when you become a Mandalorian you could meet Mandalore and he would give you a set of Mandalorian armor and a superior weapon. Mandalorian could have different ranks: (like Jedi: Initiate, Guardian, Sentinel, Council member) cadet then soldier then warrior and then maybe veteran. Man, it would be awsome .


About Imperial Inquisitor: I love that idéa too but there should be a rebel option like spy or something.


If they accually make these options possible it would save the game .

I think if you create multiple Alpha classes it doesn't become as harsh a balancing act as 1 alpha and 31 non-alphas. If you add enough, it becomes more akin to a longer end-game. Like Final Fantasy XI and it's extra professions. Each alpha could be given its respective pre-requisites for professions (hell...the people screaming for the re-instatement of hologrinding would just about explode in ecstacy from that concept) which would then increase the acceptance from players in the non-Jedi professions. Maybe one for the crafters could be a Ship Designer or something. The only class capable of creating capital ships (no loot/quest ships either) would have to have mastered AS, WS, and SW.


Keep options open and you gain greater acceptance. It's when you funnel everyone into one manner of play/thinking that you run into the serious issues we have now.

cool ideas but it would be cool if you couldnt choose wether you became jedi mando etc because then it would balance things out so you wouldnt end up with just another jedi profession with a diffrent name

Most people become jedi because it is the class everyone wants to be. But if they had an option to become mando or soemthing else (that would also give alt toon) I am sure it would cut down on alot of the upcoming jedi. People want jedi cause they think they will be all powerful but if the option was there to do a different class with the same kinda "power" the jedi are supposed to have it could work.

I seriously we should mention these idéas to the developers, maybe they will take it on as a task for the next expansion. If they do it would be great

I wonder how many expansion they intend to make maybe another 3 or 4? but ya I really wish it could happen and the devs would do it but the odds are they wont listen so heres hoping they might.

Great ideas I'm all for it, might even be worth mentioning to the corrospondent but again this would take real work that I just don't think this team ofdevs are up for the challenge.

Umm.. the Imp idea is cool but Mando I've gotta disagree with. You think Jedi is bad.Yougotta ask yourself, "Who was the one Star Wars character you always wanted to be? " Now ask this, "Who is the one Star Wars caracter everyone else in the world wanted to be?" That's right. Boba Fett. It would be an absolute shame to replace the Jedi Wars with the Mado Wars. A discrace to the Mandolarian name. If this were implemented in the game I would become a Mandolarian over a Jedi any day. That is why I would hate for it to become a part of this game.
