Julio Torres: We are working on a fix for the hig- end items like these. Expect changes on this on or right after our next expansion.

by the sounds of it, pearls/crystals as we know it are going to be totaly changed

At least now I can feel OK to let my account run out and know that I can expect a couple months off before I come back. I'm glad they finally released a timeline. They might get a lot of players like me, who take a break until then, or don't make it back, but I think it will be for the best. I believe that free flow of information is usually a good thing. I mean even if FRS came back tomorrow, I wouldn't have any reason to go beyond "knight trials" or whatever would be implemented because I can't 1v1 without better pearls.
I hope that they are able to do everything they want to do by November. I think it will bring back some players. I know I'll give it a go once the named issues are tackled.

Well good change would be nice, as right now and before they got uber nerfed only the people with mucho money could afford the above quality perals/crystals anyway!

I get this impression as well.
I have thought all along that the main reason they have not done it yet was because they were going to change the loot and tuning system as a whole for the pearls / crystals

I agree, I believe this is why they havent fixed the drops as of yet, I believe its intentional due to the fact there going to totally revamp the way crystals and pearls are used (stats tunes....ect)
