Be one of us few that decide to go with saber 4xx4. Very few people have the 1h branch unless they are MLS... Most go with 2h for the high damage or DB for spin groups. While 1H saber is the weakest branch, it can fair well with a decent saber and the knowledge of when to or not to use your dots and other skills.
Most of the combo's you have thought of are pretty comon, but good and you should be pretty effective with either. You may also look into a template like mine. Saber 4xx4, Mdef, Healer 41xx, Ehancer 4xx4... this is a decent template, it gives great defense, good healing and wound healing, it has force run and speed, as well as the ability to keep your force up.. the down fall is the weakness of 1h saber branch, but the skills are pretty and are fairly effecent... you could also drop 1h for another branch.
Mainly just pic skills that you have fun with and the type of game play you plan and go from there.

Well soloing things like that is obviously gonna kick the force bar's ass
Well my point was going to be that without running FA you could kill them, and youre force would only be at 40-50% at the end of the fight. You would have to heal a bit more but youd have much less force drain overall.
