Thread: What do you look forward to most about becoming a Jedi?
What I look forward to, if I ever get a FSCS opened, is what I have looked forward to in every profession that I've played - learning the dynamics of how to play the profession. I mean I really enjoy trying different things and expiermenting with my style of game play. As you can see by my signature I have numerous characters and only 1 master title. Why? Well cuz I could really careless about making master. To me it's all about the journey, not the destination.
With the whole idea of perma-death floating around, I'm certainly not going to rush into a city and start smoking ppl left and right. I'm going to play slowly and cautiously while I learn, then I look forward to doing what I've been doing all along.....exploring the depths of this wonderful game.
I have friends in the game and in r/l that play and many have quit cuz there ground their way up to master only to find the same game was there all along and so they quit. I'm not entirely sure what they expected to happen when they reached master but they have certainly ground away the fun factor. I on the other hand am still having a blast, despite my non-stop 2.5 months in the game. I'm having more fun now then when I was a newcomer and I don't see any let up in the near future.
Just remember, it's all about the journey...not the destination. I'm also reminded of what a Zen master said to a young hopeful when questioned on how to obtain the Zen master level. The master replied, "Chop wood, carry water". The young hopeful then asked, "Ok, then once I reach master what do I do?" The master replied, "Chop wood, carry water". May the force be with you all.
telling everyone how lame it is, bugless, and still lame.... that its not worth it, and stop paying $15/month

Roleplaying the jedi. Being mysterious. Taking on apprentices. And smiling to myself when peopel get bitter and angry at me because I got the slot.
