That is the question..

Any ideas?

Is it a waste of skill points and just worth getting 0404?

MLS without a doubt, I have had both and always go back to MLS. If only now for the advanced saber throw.

people will say the speed is broke, but if you reassemble your saber (take all the crystals out and then put them back in, color crystal last) you'll notice your speed properly adjust to what it is supposed too. (given caps and cooldowns) Do that right before you get MLS. Then get MLS, you'll notice the +45 to speed.

Mls all the way

acually, I think the best you can do even after resetting the saber is two seconds between shots with a saber. It doesnt fix the speed problem, it just puts you back as base speed. the fix would take us below the 2 second barrier.

MLS

Non-MLS is a viable alternative only if you have like... 4 pearls tuned to 120, -9, in which case you can get by with x4x4. Barring that however, MLS is pretty much the only option for solid, stand-up offense. Plus it's just fun to me. I was MLS pre-CU, and the thought of not being MLS is just...weird.

I think part of the problem is we havn't been had an explaination of how exactly it's supposed to work, I've seen tests back and forth that contradict each other, and believe there's more to the system than we think.. Heard stories of a 1 sec cap, and post-24 I've been hit by a saber every sec from some of the pre-cu players (with alternating specials) but all I knew is with alternating specials my saber was nearly 3 seconds between hits, and now it's just barely two seconds

Anyway point was the crystal exchange tip does help, but it may not be fixing the bug completely. (if it is indeed a bug and not a behind the systems game mechanic)

actually the only way to get two seconds is write a macro with two types of hits back to back. the hits cant have a warmup or cooldown timer though....its a shame we have to write our own programs to fix the games flaws.
