Would you consider it to be an xploit of the system if there are 2 bounty hunters using combat droids and as the droids are disabled they just use a instant stimpack on the droid to rez it back to full health? I had this situation happen to me, fighting 2 bh combat medicsand 2 combat droids at onceas I would disable a droid and start to work on the bh the other one would rez his droid this happened repeatedly during the fight. This went on for well over 25 mins, I ended up having to use a health and mind crystal just to keep up. I left after so long and got to a place to just /logout I will not continue a fight where it seems to me a clear abuse of the system. I have no beef with fighting 2 bh at the same time but when the droids continue to be rez'd with an instant stimpack just doen't seem right to me.

I'm not a jedi, but a bh who uses a med droid for npc missions. he gets pretty beaten up and I just throw down a bactaspray and he is all up and well for the moment.. I'm not sure if they are using droid stimpacks but if its a bh with cm in it thats what they could be doing... I could be wrong though....I honestly don't see it as an exploit although, It is a little cheap. but bh's are paid to kill not be honorable...one thing I can think of maybe, is if the droid and bh are both in range, maybe spin attacking would work? i'm not a jedi so i don't know about the fc, but that may be a thought? and on the flipside, maybe YOU could get a combat droid to help you out when you fight him? and then the bh would have an extra thing to try and kill, just like you do.

It is kinda lame. I have an alt BH/CM and your right on the money. Either one of the 3 heals works on a droid atm. The sad thing is. A while back I bought some nice droid repair kits. I was hoping they would be like stims with no HAM cost. I was wrong. They cost the same amount of mind to use then the CM heal line. So with the way things are coded, it really doesnt matter if they used CM heal or droid repair kit. On the bright side, it they continue to repair the droid during the fight, they are using their mind pool,

i have an le repair/med droid with 110 med rating, no combat...generally i will park him on the other side of the mark and have him stay till I attack...once i pull aggro to my side and i send him in, hitting for 66 a pop...not much but it helps, sadly him being cl 1 and self repairing he still gets one shotted off the aoes if im not careful lol. and yes, i use bactaspray when i fight because it just keeps the droid popping back up....but kills his vitality

is an exploit because its not meant to be a repairable item, especialy for an instant repair.

droids are pets, and you can heal your pet no? like i said lame, but doubt its an exploit....now what they SHOULD do is make them not repairable through heals but make the droid repair kits take no ham, that would be more acceptable imo..with a timer of course /shrug

Droids were not supposed to be healed by player stims/heals.

I sent a PM to Bacciacca about this, and the CH pet stims not using any mind pool about a week ago and he said he was going to pass it on to the powers that be.

No - this was flagged ages ago - as far healing is concerned droids are just like people now.

Whats more even jedi can use robots - if you set one to follow a possible bh - the instant he attacks you it will attack him.

Jolly good fun

Droids are repairable. DEs make Droid 'stims' called Droid Repair Kit. It acts just like a stim, and can heal more than 1500 damage if you get great materials and a 12 pt DE. And the Repair Kits are tied to any skills like some of the med stims.

i think the issue though is the ability to use medic heals to heal an inorganic (or at least semi inorganic) object.

Yes, but even if that ability is fixed, they can still heal the droids, and with even more powerfull stims w/o the skill point cost. Best bet is to just keep wounding the droids until the black bar makes them non-functional.

you can get kits that repair droid wonds as well as hitpoints.

The point is BH are not using these kits but are using CM area heals to revive thier droids. This is a advantage to BH as they are able to forego a combat round healing both himself and droid in 1 round rather then needing to use two combat rounds one healing himself and one using a repair kit on a droid

Using droid repair kits on droids to get them back into combat is fine. Using any type of Medic / Doc / CM heal to heal droids is exploiting.
