Ok, so my Jedi, who was also an Alliance Ace Pilot really wanted a Jedi Starfighter. So after much deliberation with myself I finally broke down and went Imp to get it. But then I had an idea. A game for my guildies...
Save Rytch from the Dark Side.
It works like this:
-I run around our guild's town, as a Special Forces Imperial. Any overt guildmate had an option to fight me if they wished.
-I always gave them first strike. (The reasoning being Rytch wished to turnhis former friendsDark, not destroy them)
-Beating me in a duel and showing mercy earned me a Light Side point.
-Beating me in a duel and DBing me earned me a Dark Side point.
-Jedi were only allowed to fight me 1-v-1 but non-Jedi I allowed 2-v-1. If I was attacked by any more I'd earn a DS point.
-Roleplay was encouraged but not mandatory to participate.
-I could only earn 1 point every 2 hours (I bend this a bit)
The game turned out to be a big hit in the guild. Lots of players tried out the roleplay aspect, having some great Jedi vs. Dark Jedi conversations that led to an intense duel. one guildie playing up the Light Jedi factor refused to attack me even though he was overt to me. Another guildie came along and beat my tail tho. I definitely learned a lot about dueling and using skills in the 20 or so fights I've had in the past 4 days.
Unfortunately I've won a bit too much lately and I'm spending too much time as an Imperial! LOL Ikinda built the game so I would gain LS points quicker but I thought I'd lose a lot more.
Anyway, it's been great fun, and I just wanted to share it with you all just to illustrate that you can sometimes provide your own content and have a real good time doing it.
