Thread: Why did i manage to kill someone while cloaked last nite ?
Last nite, i run into coro because my friends had told me there are overts there, so i run up to them and around them cloaked, then one realises its me and starts to /follow me out the south gate towards all the npc rebels, her friends then leave, so i decide to have a go at her, so i turn off fr and hit saber throw, and then start beating on her with leg hit and head hit (i presume at this point my cloak has dropped, as all i look at is the ham bars and cooldown timers)
So then i start beating her and she starts running off, shouting exploit, exploit at me, i look up and i am still cloaked lol, so i drop the cloak manually and then continue to beat her, at the end of the fight she then recons to have reported me
So whats happening here, i havent yet tried to make it happen again as its a blatent exploit, and i get reported enough for aparently "hitting people too fast", so i cant do with been reported for this as well.
Thanks for any responses

It's a bug that some know how to reproduce.
Get in the habit of +Cloak+, -Cloak-, and +Cloak+...when you first login. This'll often prevent these unfortunate bugs. Enough people abuse it in PvP that you'll get blamed for Exploiting every single time. If you still find yourself bugged (Fighting whilst Cloaked)...run off quickly and send the person a /tell, identifying to them that you're bugged and that you will not re-attack at that time. That usually makes people comfortable with your /bug.
If you win after a Cloak /bug, you'll never look good. It's better to just run off, admit you're bugged, and fight at another time. IMO.

This will fix it yeah, made a habit of it to. Altough i do forget it from time to time, but usually see it in time and press cloak button to uncloak.
I'm there with you, babe.
