So why were they pushed live? They were mentioning publish 24 in early september, right as I left for New Orleans to help with the relief. Before I left, I KNOW it was addressed the fact that BH's would openly abuse the SL buffs in order to kill Jedi. They knew this when it was a concept. They knew this when it was in testing (for the long period that it spent on TC.) And now they know it on live, so why isn't this being fixed? It's not right that BH's can use these buffs, and buffs of their friends without being a squad leader to hammer into Jedi and 1shot them.

As I say this, I have not died to one of these guys (or ANY BH for that matter), but it's making me weary to login my Jedi. I already had enough trouble with CM/BH's that could fight me forever and not show a dent. Combine these guys with the new BH rifle coming out in a few days, and overall, we're screwed. BH is the new Alpha class. So in closing, SOE KNEW this would be abused, and I'm sure we brought it up with the Corro. So why was this pushed live? :/

::Sigh:: Devs don't play the game. Devs don't care about the game. We're screwed. My lightsaber is just a bug zapper, the only thing missing is the plug. Maybe that's why it's not powerful.

I already know a template to kill any jedi with the new SL abilities, I just think SOE are plain dumb and that nerfs jedi even more...and it abuses the whole idea of jedi defending themselves, only problem is grinding it but that doesn't take that long either

Group up with a SL and getyour own buffs. Shall we nerf Docs next because MBHs can get doc buffs and attack us jedi when we don't have them?

In addition to having a pre9 jedi, I am also a verteran SL. When I have the SL on, I have buffs going and give high profile jedi individual buffs like "toughen". They don't get one shot..in fact, most of the BHs that attack them go down rather fast. The difference now is that MBHs are finding out they can alpha strike (something they could always do before but most never seemed to bother) instead of being a MCM. This allows diversity in the BH ranks and makes it harder for the majority of jedi to adapt to each style of BH that hunts them now.

SL isn't the real danger. No, the real danger is in this snare debuff nerf. I can snare/KD jedi to death rather quickly before they even get to me...and I'm not a BH. My jedi is a ME. I wont log him in till its adjusted. How sad that a Novice rifleman special can take my master level buff away.

If I'm a SL and I group with a Jedi to help defend against BHs, what do I stand to gain? Nothing

If I'm a SL and I group with a BH to attack Jedis, what do I stand to gain? Lots and lots of money

I think the answer is clear.

ALL jedi have a second account, and most jedi tend to be in guilds with lots of other jedi. I'm sure most large guilds will soon have several MSL, if they don't already. All it takes is a little TEAM work.

Tiggs implied that Pub 24 was released when it was because of TIME issues.

The fault isn't hers, it isn't the Devs, it's the PRODUCERS, the people who set the requirments and the schedule. Quit giving her and the devs a hard time, it's not their fault.

Once again we take it in the pants due to an artificially set release schedule for an expansion, due to pathetic management. Julio Torres, Grant McDaniel and Dallas Dickinson, those are the names you need to remember.
