Thread: serious question about the elder jedi rewards please need an answer

I have been a jedi since june or jully [can't remmebr always get the two mixed up for some reason] but I have not finsihed my template [i am cl80 though]I have 60% of my temp about so far [Mls,enhancer 3303,defender 0020[dropping],healer 2000] my question is will I have to finish my template off really quickly before the new combat system revamp to get the elder rewards [the robes,blue glowie ability,new crystal,elder title etc]?

i interpreted it that as long as u r a padawan before the change over, u recieve the vet rewards reguardless of how much u have completed templete wise

No, you only need to have unlocked under the current system, i.e. even a person with only the padawan box will receive those rewards.

So far it appears that the respec will be based on CL (unless you are a crafter or Entertainer) and not on XP or skill points. So I would say if you are CL 80 you are going to be fine. The "Elder" rewards have been stated to be going to any player who has an active account and any Jedi skills so it doesn't matter if you are a fresh padawan or a full template.

pheww,I was thinking that I wouldn't get them unless i finished my template before the combat revamp well it's good to know [hehehe dark jedi knight robe!]the ability to to go blue glowie will be cool wonder whether you can change back? Thanks for your answers

Oh, and a good advice is, for now atleast, keep grinding up but don't learn anymore boxes. If you're level 80, you'll be able to respec to a fully developed toon under the new coming system. However, they raising the max level to 90, so you'll still have to do some grinding under the new system. You'll probably be able to use the racked xp to advance, but then again maybe not, since all weapon specific xp will dissapear and will be known as combat xp. I'm hoping they are converting all xp on your toon into the new system.

yeah. i am thinking blue glowie is like a toggleable action.
while glowie you can do nothing but chat...
and float...
then toggle it off...
regardless of what people might say.. .It is the most honrable thing they can do to Pre CU2 jedi
