Yes, the simplified question is this:

What is the requirment to respec to a full Jedi: CL80 or Full temp Jedi?

but theirs no clarifacation if they all have to be jedi points to be cl 80 or a combination of jedi and regular proffesion. this is a critical answer because that means you can have one novice box of jedi and still be a cl 80 toon. its not fair that one person with a novice box can be able to respec 9 times to a full jedi. in the old respec post cu were there were regular respec points and jedi respec points? been so long and i was 99% finished with jedi by then I really dont remember.

The Jedi profession isn't any more special in the new sytem than any other so it doesn't matter HOW you arrived at CL 80 you get to be a CL 80 in the new system in whatever profession you choose. This means if you have a Rifleman/Jedi that is a CL 80 you can be a CL 80 BH or a CL 80 Smuggler or a CL 80 FS/Jedi. That is my inturpretation of the answers so far. The exception is non CL professions like Crafters and Entertainers which will be based on skill points.

I was seriously thinking about this myself. I was thinking it may be prudent to grind out a double mastery template. Not sure

yeah, what DocSavag said, its not like jedi respec with CU, all they care about is CL at this point and not skill pts spent, the exception is for crafters and entertainers, whose respec is proportion to the number of skill pts spent. So a master weaponsmith/master merchant could respect to full jedi. and full jedi could respec to a full crafter.

Ok, here it is spelled out:

To get the Jedi Elder rewards, you have to be a Jedi in the current system(meaning you have to have the paddy box)

To respec to a full temp proffession in the new system(be it Jedi or anything else) you have to be CL80 in this system.

Those are two seperate things.

That means you will be able to respec to a full Jedi, but you will not be an Elder since you were not a Jedi before the new changes came.

The mention about a paddy box refers to players who are eligible for the Jedi Elder rewards (Title, robe, crystal, and blue glowie skill) this is separate from being able to respec into a Jedi. So an existing BH with no Jedi slot would be able to become a level 80 Jedi but wouldn't get the Elder title and rewards. A player who was a level 80 Rifleman with just the padawan box would be able to respect to full Jedi AND get the Elder title and rewards. Its unclear to me what use the rewards would be if you don't become a jedi in the new system.

ok, just went and read tiggs post.....simply stated, if you have one padawan box, you will be eligable for the elder reward..we all agree on that....doesnt mention one thing about fs or jedi being respeced from any other proffesions boxes. until tiggs gets on here andgives us someclear examples, we just dont know....soe is notorious for leaving way to many grey areas and putting up enough information to absolutly confuse everyone involved. including themselves....
