I do believe that fastguns theroy is correct...partially.I think that the FS bar is there...and does reset after you clone. But i dont think that its that general.it HAS to be diffrent for everyone.Soooooo...the ways you get points on your force bar is diffrent for everyone.

I think it would be a nightmare if your Force bar reset completely everytime you died. I sincerely hope that in-game death is not penalized that heavily.

Dieing is nothing in this game. You can die,be cloned, loot your body and fight in the same fight you died in 5 minutes ago! They should have a high penalty for dieing....i mean....its dieing.

no, but if your force bar reset then suddenly you have none of your skill point XP bonuses (using fastguns template). that = no one makes for a year or more since those are the only good ways to get XP. you would lose all the one-time bonuses. so therefore it CANT work that way or it wouldnt work.

more logically is that you get a -500 or -1000 for die-ing. that way it can set you back, but wont cripple you.

death has nothing to do with it. There is not a FS bar (which would be equal to XP bars), the FS system works by the same principle as faction scores. Possibly death gives you a negative count, but doesn't reset. I can't really see why death should have anything to do with it though.

Well... perhaps to make it so that only survivors can be jedi?

Let me break it down for you;

1) That would make no sense
2) It would be EXACTLY the same for everyone
3) It's just a dumb suggestion

It's 5am, I can't be bothered thinking about this. The suggestions posted on this forum gets dumber and more simplicated ever time.

nope...sorry...if it reset everytime you died, that would give an unfair advantage to those who are medics, artisians, or entertainers...surely a marksman or brawler will die FAR more times than someone who sits in the cantina all day.

If dying is a problem for you, who cares? Even if you open the FSCS, would it really matter if all you did half the time was die? No I don't think theres a penalty for dying because people who do wont likely become Jedi anyways. It also is biased as a rebel soldier is going to die a lot more than that rebel armorsmith will, it's not an equal system, well, not that they ever said it was completely equal in the first place, if only I ruled the world..

"I think that the FS bar is there...and does reset after you clone."

No WAY does FS have anything to do with dying. If it did, all the Artisans and non-combat people would have a huge advantage over combat people (which it shouldn't be because the devssayit's equal to get with all the professions).

If dying had anything to do with it, dying would RAISE your FS bar because the devs don't want many people making it to Jedi level. = P

I do agree with you on the fact that there IS a FS bar, but there are also some things that you will need to do.

1.) Filling your FS bar...

2.) Accomplishing a number of great things. This could be getting medals, winning a certain number of pvp battles, crafting certain items (PA Hall is extreamly though to craft from what I hear), or maybe taking out a number of force sensitive NPCs (Dark Adepts/Knights)

Instead of calling it "FS bar" we should stick with the theme of the game and call it something more appropriate...maybe

FS Cantina!

sorry..they made me do it!!

Heres a question for the jedi players, is there a force bar other than the one on your character sheet?

Ok, so a jedi walks into a bar and...zzzzzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
