I know its been discussed many times as I have been doing searches but would like to hear from people whouse MLS, Def 4440, Enh 3002 heal 4000 in pvp. I know someone will post saying that 3402 enh is better with 4040 def but im not interested in that. I am not a big fan of the force drain in FA2 and would like to try and learn how to use my current template, which is the one above, in pvp. I hear great things about it and terrible things about it. Is it viable for pvp against other jedi and BH's? Just seems like a fun template for me and would like to keep it so I guess thats all that matters. Just looking for your opinions if you have this template. Thx so much in advance!

It can be good. It has less armour than 34x2 enh but it has much better force conservation. Your aim in jedi pvp should be to drain your targets force, since you are able to maintain your force much better, just healing and your aura macro.

Vs BHs it should do ok, remember you have no real escape mechanism, so fighting your way out is the only option.

When i unlocked right at the CU, i used the skill builder that came out right after to find the temp i wanted and that was the one i found and so far i am happy with it, i both deal and take damage with minimal force usage which i like. Krayts, Gorax etc, are no problem for me at all.

I use that template and have bested many prepub 9Knights with a 580 max damage 35 FC saber.... nuff said

Im ever working to get my perfect saber.... but tbh this is a really flexible PvP template if you know how to use it properly.... as for no escape... does force suppression and a Force run you never have to turn off... NOT count as an esacpe method... root... FR pull speeder.... escaped...

I refer to it as lacking an escape method because you can easily counter what you stated with a root from the bh. MCM MBH pistols xxx4 is pretty common on my server you see.

Ahh yes its counterable but I find 90% of the time when im on the run and using my block-vaerbok-ranged defense and elshandru pica thundercloud.... 90% of the time they miss the root. But your point is valid That template is common on all servers heh 620 max damage 33fc... and slowly getting better :S

But I usually use the root.... run... KD at 20m tactic... you can normally get that far before they get a chance to fire root.... then by the time they get up you can be well out of range Quick thinkers will be able to fire quicker but then its a matter of landing the attack...

It's true. They have yet to get a root off in time to counter that. OK, maybe once, but as soon as the root is gone, so are you.

I have changed up my template quite a lot post cu. I have tried and gone back to the following template twice, which is slightly different from your example.

MLS

Def 434x

Ehn 4xx2

Heal 4xxx

I like this template as it allows me to have a nice diversity of skills and works well on the force conservation. It also helps that i have a 700+ damage 17 fc saber

Its very very versitile in pvp and pve. In pve you can with patience and planning solo any mob in the game its a damn hassel for some but you can do it. Its a newbie friendly build and very usefull for experienced pvp's as well. As a previous poster said this build has no automatic escape technique. However unless you are being followed by 4-5+ you have enough healing, defense, and forcerun/root/snare to outdistance them.
