I think it is only natural for people who spend most of their time grinding and way less enjoying the game to feel gipped when someone new comes in and overnight gets to their status right away.

This is the same attitude you'd have in any environment. Such is the case with any establishment that once required work to get something and then for the sake of dollars made it so everyone could get the same "perks" no matter what.

So please understand that this "elitist" attitude is a direct result from how SOE structured this game and now has totally demolished the game into a very basic socialist society.

For the record, I am glad that players get to enjoy the game if they like walking into a jedi. But I certainly understand the veteran being hurt by this, it would happen in any type of rankingenvironment.

Through the force things you will see, other places, the future, the past; old friends long gone.
