Is it still possible if you master the six branches? If so, does this mean you gain "Elder" status?

As long as you unlock before NGE, get 1 novice box, and keep cl80, you'll be an elder jedi.

you can still be elder even if you are 45 or 60 or 77 or 79,level 80 will allow you to respec to 80 in the NGE

One other thing, once you complete the six branches, do you unlock, or do you need to wait for an old man who will never come now?
