Then mentioned that every veteran jedi gets a "Special robe with stats". They should make the apperances based on when they unlocked, via using the old FRS robes.
Ie:
Publish 4-8 Council Robes
8-14 Master Robes
14-20 Arbiter Robes
So on and so forth

No.
Doing that would only cause WAY more problems. You're only going to divide the community even more by making it more apparant who unlocked when. This only breeds elitism and hatred against each other.

Elitism will exist no matter what they do. At the very least this will actually give the Jedi Veterans a small sense of accomplishment for what they've done in the past.

What do I care? What do I care? I care ALOT. I still play Star Wars Galaxies. I keep that in my signature as a note of history that has transpired. I want to make sure no one forgets the past. That is the only way for people to understand the nature of the game.
Dispite my political views in the game, it doesnt mean mystatementis any less true.

True, but making an even wider gaps between the groups will do nothing but fuel the fire. Why would SOE aid the ongoing battles between childish people? Jedi veterans are getting a robe, a crystal, and blue glowie powers. In SOE's eyes, this is enough.

Exactly, there already getting a robe why not make it more distinguishable. I for one do not like running around in clone wars.

I think it would be cool if you had the choice of which version of the FRS robes you want, but limiting them based on when they unlocked would do nothing but drive a wedge between the playerbase.

You should be given an option upon logging in to choose your robe and saber color crystal.

That would work too I suppose but I still think it would be more wise to let the long termveterans choose from a "Larger pool" so to speak.
