As a jedi with practicly no melee/range defense, I'll miss the need to be alert while standing in Theed or MOP or while out hunting krayts, knowing that a BH might hit you at any time possible and knock out half my life if I'm not prepared. To look over my shoulder every now and then when helping someone grind. And I think that the new jedi are missing out on something, God knows how paranoid I was when I was a little padawan whelp trying to grind quenkers on Dant, that I have to run to a house to log out just so that a BH whont hit me while the server is closing down my connection.

Will take a little getting used to, to be able to go AFK in Theed without that little voice in you head "you're going to get attacked by a BH if you leave him there, better park him in the river before you go"

The threat of the BH attack made it fun for me and I'm glad I played under the old system of fear. I miss hiding out and walking around keeping my secret.

Yep and all the patrons will CL 5's with padawan robes on. Probably asking for duels thinking their "teh uber".

I might miss it, but I won't miss not playing for 3 weeks so I could relax for a day.

That feeling reminded me of being in the wild in UO. Especially in beta. The mercs were out to get me after my DSO days...

I'm getting too old for that heart racing paranoia.

I actually enjoyed the fear and the thrill of looking over my shoulder all the time. The surge of adrenaline when I see a red dot in the distance and getting reayd for combat or sometimes NOT ready for it. I just thought it added an immersion to the game for me honestly. Though I didn't like dying of course it was part of the game and I payed the price for being a jedi in a timeline where there shouldn't be any or in "hiding". imo.

1:1 pvp = the most *optional* fun in the game

(btw....hunting in groups for krayt = no vis)

ahahahah good one. I had thought my content was getting to knight and participating in the FRS...but...oh..wait... that whole not having an FRS thing.

Don't get wrong, I don't mind pvping, but I pvp on my own terms and when I actively choose to.

Hopefully Player bounties will come back in some form. I won't miss getting attacked in the middle of a quest and losing that quest only to start all it over.They are fun, but only when it is a good time to be hunted. Most BHes had no respect hence why they are now gone.

I hear PvP in NGE sucks now. So maybe it isn't such a bad thing.

i loved it, every time i'd see a dot ride past me in the middle of no where... fight adrenalin would kick in.... then the waiting....come on...you know you want to attack.........first blaster shot! its on! then you get to lay down the hurt.. god, i'll miss it, it was great hahaha.
