Thread: Humble request from a returning player to this forum.

Hey everyone,
I've been out of it for awhile, at least since before the jedi revamp. I've have searched the SWG forums with every term I can think of and I still don't understand what I have to do. Here is my problem:
Before I stopped playing I had already got a visit from the old man and had been able to go the village of Aurellia once. I did some combat XP transfer to Force XP. I am a Jedi Initiate and I have Combat Prowess Novice (something new to me). Unfortunately I have absolutely no idea what to do now since we no longer have to do the quests in the village. I've searched everywhere for an answer and have found nothing.
I've visited Force Shrine's and the only option is to meditate.
I haven't had anything or anyone approach me about Padawan Trials nor can I find any reference to where they start or anything of that nature.
I cannot find any jedi trainers with /findmytrainer at all. Nothing happens when I type out this command.
Where can I find information on how to obtain/buy/build a lightsaber. Is it possible to buy it?
Please, please, please do not tell me to search the forums. I have truthfully done so for almost an hour now and have come up with locations of force shrine's and old information about the old man (which I've already done) and very vague and very old information about padawan trials that have so far not worked for me.
Does anyone out there have any suggestions (besides searching the forums which I have already done) or tips/tricks to help me out? I'd really like to get back into this game but they keep changing it so much it gets really frustrating. Besides, no one online that I have asked will give me any answers.
Again, I am a Jedi Initiate so if that makes any difference please let me know. Thanks to anyone who replies.

Did you complete the village? i.e. all 6 branches filled 24 boxes in all
I've visited Force Shrine's and the only option is to meditate. you need to /kneel then use the meditate command to use the shrine.
I haven't had anything or anyone approach me about Padawan Trials nor can I find any reference to where they start or anything of that nature. There is a post in songouki's Jedi Faq's i believe that lists the padawan trial's and their answers
I cannot find any jedi trainers with /findmytrainer at all. Nothing happens when I type out this command. Havent used it in a long time, don't remember if it tells you what planet each time you use it or only on the first time.
Where can I find information on how to obtain/buy/build a lightsaber. Is it possible to buy it? Once you get jedi you will have the schematics in your datapad which will list the resources needed. You will need a LS crafting tool to craft one.

First off do you have all 6 of your FS trees unlocked?
If they are do you have any or all of them filled or close to it?
-> If you have all 6 unlocked and dont have much more to fill up on them then start grinding.
<- If you dont have all 6 unlocked then just wait for he NGE
In roughly 7 days it wont really matter cause everyone can be a jedi if they want.

From what I read from a FAQ in the Jedi forums we do not need to do the village quests anymore. Yes I am a Jedi Initiate. What do you mean 6 branches and 24 boxes? The only skills I have to go for force sensitive stuff is Combat Prowess Force Progression and Heightened Senses.
If I am a Jedi Initiate should the LS schematic be in my datapad? If so it is not there.
Just read Sinnatas post. Evidently I'm premature on the village quests thing. I thought the Jedi revamp was here and that the quests in the village were obsolete. My apologies for the confusion.

I'm confused, I only see 3 FS trees. Combat prowess, enchanced reflexes and heightened senses.

Those are 3 of the 4 categories of village skills. Each contains 4 seperate trees.
Hate to break it to you but you are not a jedi initiate, you are Force sensitive. You need to have 6 full trees to finish the village. there is no way you could do it now. Just wait the 7 days and then you can be a jedi.

I may be wrong, but i thought FS players don't get the meditate option at shrines.
