Ok so i killed an adolescent krayt with my lvl 14 spy. Got a pearl and some cores. I had it id'ed by several jedi who all said that it didnt have any type of quality.
Only condition 1,000/1,000
No more good/quality/premium/flawless?

they're lvl 89 dbl elites .. if he woulda caught me he woulda killed me
I just kited him with my spy carbine they gave me in the trainer.
like 6 damage per hit, 20'ish with the special
took 30 minutes

Its a good think this has been in development so long. One would think that inconsistences in balance would be a concern.

a krayt couldn't catch you? did you snare him or something because krayts are pretty damn fast lol

well, when I solo'd Krayts, whether they were Juvi's or Ancients, you can use the terrain around the graveyard to your advantage....they are very slow going up hills.

Remember were sped up NGE. it's like perma burst run. The only problem i had was the worrts kept agroing so i had to keep shooting them off me too. If given enough room can kite anything that isnt ranged. I dont have a jedi on tc so wont get tuned, No quality stats says 5 jedi that i got to look at it.

How many of these "Jedi" were Jedi? Jedi is not til the 4th Tier box on the skill Tiers. If this is at all the same as the system now...only JEDI can ID them. Force Sensitive cannot ID pearls and crystals...therefor I believe this is where the problem lies. They are not "technically" Jedi yet, so could not ID the pearls.

one of them was lvl 26 .. i'm pretty sure when i looked in the skill catagory of my jedi on the other tc that was high enough to craft a saber. If you can craft a saber you have to be able to id pearls

Maybe...but if the Devs are running it that you have to be a "Jedi" to ID pearls...then they technically aren't Jedi yet...like I said, it's just my assumption and guess. I've seen posts about the Server CU and they are able to rattle off exactly what their Prem pearl tuned to and what their Flawless tuned to...so I'm assuming that there are still Qualities on pearls/crystals...and that you have to be a Tier 4 (Jedi) Force Sensitive toon to see them...
