I have had trouble logging in recently.I thought it was the firewall at work messing me up, but I usually get in the first time. On Thursday it took me a whole hour to get in, though.

it's a new strategy to curb the anger that many people are feeling. It's called 1 out of 5 forum logging in. It's a new strategy to hopefully keep you from coming on the forums and saying something that would makeDevs and correspondents angry. lol

You can always read.
You cannot log in to post if the account is not paid for and in good standing (i. e. if you cant log into the game you cant post on the forums, either).

If people are deciding to stay or go based on what we see in the Forums... I feel sorry for them. They should be getting in the game and making up their own minds. Ex-Players may have various reasons for quitting that have nothing to do with MY game experience. Ex-Players add nothing to my knowledge except the usual "This game sucks now" thread.
If you leave, you leave - Ex-Players don't get automatic "Glowy" status so they can guide others.

QFE..
Exactly... thus the reason they removed access for people with inactive accounts. It was hurting their pocketbook.

Yes, I would. Mostly because I prefer to make my own mind up, not take other people's opinions. It's really not so hard to get into the game, and decide whether it's for you or not. Who's to say the disgruntled people aren't exaggerating? Who's to say THEIR issues would be mine?
YOU may like to have people make your mind up for you - I prefer to think for myself. And as far as the AZ land goes? I already own some, and some in Nevada as well (Las Vegas will be THE premier Oceanfront resort)

Ya know, the reason I play SWG today is because I refused to listen to the people who were giving it TERRIBLE reviews when it first came out...
Ya know what? They were right, this game sucks even harder today than it did when it first came out.The only thing that keeps people paying is the "promise" that better days will be here soon. SWG will be out of business in a year.

That's great - I respect your opinion - Mostly because YOU made the decision. You didn't let someone else make your mind up for you, you tried it, and found it's not what you prefer.
I mean come on - You never enjoyed a Movie that got bad reviews? A TV Show that was panned by critics? Personally, there was a Movie reviewer that I used to watch in Arizona a while back - ANY movie that man hated - I ended up loving. Had I listened to him, and watched something else - I would have missed many good movies...
Which included Star Wars, Empire and Return of the Jedi. HE hated those movies, called them "populist drivel"..
