I liked a full suit that had +14 to ranged and melee defense...all of these items have 3 sockets which is a bonus for Jedi CA's. When u get it all on you really see a significant change in your defensive. Just my opinion though.

Here's my suit that I sell as a Tailor to people. All clothes have 4 sockets too.
BE shirt/pants/spec ops duster with +14 melee / ranged defense on all of them.
Sunguard with healing mods on it.
Bandolier with +19 healing efficiency on it.

Waste.
Defence mods cap at 25 same as everything else so 2 items with defence is all you need then use the other slot for terrain neg or now instead of jacket get the mustafar jedi robe.
Sunguard needs no mods because healing is useless for jedi same with bandolier its best to stick another terrain neg on the bando.
+17 terrain neg x 2 = 34 TN (6 off 4000 scout level)
+14 melee/ranged def x2 = 28 (caps at +25)
Hat optional but personally they look ridiculous, gloves, belt, shoes should be 4 socketed for CA's also.
