Well I think we all agree on that jedi should be something rare...and special, but it aint, ive seen far more jedi then rangers and so on. But ask a jedi who whines bout this to delete his and make it one less, and he shuts it.
Well i got an idea =)
How would it be like if...a bh catch you and kills you, you´d loose all your jedi skills (not fs skills).
Increse the BH payment to lets say 10 mils each kill ?
Only those jedi who has been jedi the longest can be hunted, lets say 25 % of the jedi population can be hunted and those 25 % are those jedi who have been jedi the longest, the most experienced and probobly best jedi out there is.
And as jedi will start to die, the newer jedi will transfered "up" in the list, and soon be one of the 25 % that being hunted.
This will leave the "noob" jedi some time to prepare for what shall come.
And lets say your one of those 25 % thats being hunted, andu havent been killed in like 3 months, then u get some kind of reward +5 force regen or whatever.
Well its just an rough idea, this will have the effect of, less jedi, only the better pvp jedi out there will survival. And in the end, we will know who the best jedi´s out there are =)
And the "older" jedi will have something to play for again, a challange =)

Wont happen for the same reasons perma-death went away. Someone looses a jedi and account will get canceled. Canceled accout is loss of profit and they don't like that.

i would be ok id this except for 1 thing.
there havent been any jedi in game since soooooooo 5 months ago, when the combatdumbnoobgrade came in and took all existing jedi and transformed them into torch bearers.
so when you say you see jedi everywhere, i can olny ask with excitement, "what game are you playing? " legoland star wars? it is a fast paced very fun game. its like a alpha class version of swg.
see, in swg, when jedi stopped blocking bullets, as well as many other things, we werent playing star wars anymore.

And what about the godly PvP master who's out on a slaughter spree who has a power cut or a line failure?

The only way this would work is if SOE gave us all personal power generators with the game and your character vanished the second you went LD (ie not gonna happen...).

when they prema die they will quit....thus less jedi, less players, no game

Wait a minute...Rookie I think you are on to something here...
This all sounds good to me but lets add a couple things.
Give Jedi LS damage back, decrease force, action and mind costs for sabers, and let us loot the corpse of the BH when he/shedies! How does that sound?
Oooo Oooo and we can take everything! And when the BH clones he has nothing and has to start all over. No loss of points though..just money and goods.

dident say it was the ultimate suggestion tho =) But your right ida-vi, of course it must work both ways, the BH must also lose something if he should die. But since both BH and jedi are pvp proffs, the more at stake, the more fun =)
But as someone said, it would be difficult to do, since someone can loose the connection to the internet and sutch.
