Or do you have a grace period? I've heard you have a week before you can go on the term. I've also heard you can get on the terms first day. Anybody have any hard evidence?

you get like 5 days before vis USE IT!!

you get vis, but it's debatable if you get on the terms. Myself and 3 buddies I unlocked with had untill day 7, then they came in swarms. Others have been hunted the day they unlocked, I'm thinking it starts once you kill mel, and not when you unlock.. but it's debatable.

I think its safer just to assume you get visibilty and can be hunted from day 1. If you want to stay off the terminals you might as well get started early even if there is a grace period which I seriously doubt.

well im in day 4 now. and no bh was bored and killed some npcs in mo. had a bh camp a lair waiting for a group member to uncloak. had the occasional noob stop to watch a glowstick swing. but im grinding my but off though 4 day im ls 1131 healer 2000 enhancer 2002 novice def.

well said! There may be a grace period, atleast it seemed that way when i unlocked, no way to tell for sure, but if you are careless in those first few days chances are you are going to get hunted right after any way so its best just not to risk it unless you feel so inclinded

Just because no one has come for you doesn't mean you aren't on the terminals. Has a lot to do with what time of day you play, how many other Jedi are on while you are on, and your faction relative to the majority of BH's in your galaxy. Who knows. There are enough stories from people who have been hunted before a week to make me skeptical of any grace period.

Edited to Add: This all assumes you want to stay off the terminals. If you want to draw the heat go ahead it will take the pressure off others who would rather be left alone to grind

well i always have enough banked not to go into debt. but i would rather one come when i have force aura and mls but who knows. guess ill find out when one comes.

I HATE this stupid question but I post anyhow.

My advice, go ahead flash your saber and dance around the starports in your padarobe all day long. At best, you've been building up maximum vis and will either be:

A) On the terminals immediately

B) On them in 7 days

Either way you die and you lose XP.

So what is the point of this question? The answer is you might not die now but you will die later.

Well, I dont get to play as much as most do. My jedi got pwned by a BH my 4th day. All I had was LS 0020 and novice healer, lol. ATM, Im debating on wether to cancel or not. It totally ruined the game for me. I hate pvp and I hate feeling like a game is a job. The fun is gone for me. Wish I never had gone jedi.

Don't say that, then BH's might get the idea that they have any affect on things. Which they don't so let's not give 'em the wrong idea.
