Thread: The Solution to the Jedi problem ( revisited )
Last night i posted this......
Ok, here it is.
Make the amount of Force power Available, dependent on the the amount of Jedi. If there is a lot of Jedi, low Force power for them all. If there is a small number of Jedi, Mega Force power for them all. This will solve the problem with every third player being a Jedi. The Astromech friday feature a while back showed that Jedi Defender is the most popular profession in the game, when there was only a few Jedi around during the time in the Saga. If Jedi is weak, players will drop it, making the others stronger. if Jedi is strong, players won't give out the secrets to getting it on these forums, This is a reasonable solution, shown by the fact that the Sith did this, they had thousands of members and there were getting weaker, and they lost, so they made the rule of two, and it worked! look at episode III. So.....listen to me all you Devs out there!
Then after a fewreplies, i posted this......
ok, i gotta get off the forums for a while. this has been a great conversation, nice notes, and stupid comments (gotta have both...lol) i will get on later and read the rest, more are sure to pour in from irrate Jedi, i have every right to post here, Jedi post on the bh forum, and as far a conflict of intrest, i wanted to be a Jedi, it sounded awesome, but seeing how many there was, i decided to be responsible, and not mess up the storyline with the rest of you. but the fact is...there is too many Jedi, if there was this many in the movies, Han would of took out his lightsaber and killed some stormtroopers, then they would of pulled out theirs, and had a duel in the starport...lol
Now i did relieze afterwards that Jedi defender is not the most popular, but force sensitive combat is. now i got many replies, and i got laughed at, called names, and to be fair some people supported my right to post on the Jedi forum. and out of the many replies, no one could reject the fact that the main idea i have, is true to the movies......and i think would do wonders for the game, if there is thousands of Jedi, like i say......they are weak, if there is only a few like the Jedi say, they are strong, and as far as being a bh, i would love to fight a Jedi, and him be incredible, like Obi-Wan. Not some imature loser who spends all his time playing computer games. (oops.....there goes 70% of the Jedi on the game...lol) and me be a better player too, but because he can waste more time, doing stuff that is not hard, just time-consuming....and he gets to be super-player, when i got the game (in a trial last November) the cover said Jedi were very rare, and it took a great player to find all the secrets of the force.....yeah right! you just log unto the forums and get a walkthrough. now i fully respect all the Jedi who grind and do their thing in secret, i don't have any respect for the Jedi who walk around the starport dueling! i mean....they are in exile!?!?! right?
