I'm thinking of going MLS/MHealer and some Defender.

Has anyone tried this template? Where you successful?

from what i've heard, and having 2 lines in healer myself, master healer is fine IF you are okay will being known as the group healer, not tank. However! I hear the force costs on total heal are INCREDIBLE. The mind costs on improved heal and infusion are pretty rough themselves, so that will def have to be a consideration.

Might want to seriously think about getting xxx2 enhnacer just so you can recoup force at a reasonable rate.

I´m master healer since 1 year. Pre cu it was fine, but now, i think its time to respec. Master healer is not worth the xp-points, 4xxx is enough. You have no chance in PvP because of the long timers and no additional defenses in the healer tree.

Every doc heals better, faster and for a longer time than a master healer, so in group, they don`t realy need you.

Master Healer is the rarest profession in the game.

edit: Send a PM to MsNil (might not be spelled correctly) He's a Master Healer from what I recall.

Oh, they rock! Eseentially you get one extra heal /totalHeal. The upside is you can heal faster and the downside is you go comatose 10x faster from the insane costs on Mind Pool. When the mind pool is deplenished you will NOT be able to perform ANY attacks with a lightsaber. (this is fcked up and should be attached to ALL professions!)

I am M. Healer, M. LS, and 4040 defender.

My observations:

1. You miss out on all the cool toys other jedi have(no root, no FR, no Force Regen, force speed, cloak etc)

2.Damage healing and Sap are by far the two most used skills in Healer. The cures are not quite useless but close to it. This may change when NPC's and mobs start using thier specials again. Which from what I have read may be a patch or two away.

3. I have not died from a BH since I finished my template. This is not saying all that much since I rarely get hunted.

4. I really miss the cone attack for ST.

5. This is a very poor template for PvE. You take a lot of damage and can not regen your force. Thank goodness holos are not hard to come by.

6. Heal crystals are rather nice for this template as you can use Total Heal. It is much better to heal 5k of damage all at once than to heal 1.5k several times. This is from a force cost standpoint, attack turn stand point, mind cost stand point, etc.

7. Running up to an incapped group mate and landing a total heal on them to get them back in the fight is sweet. Thank goodness for DB timers. The down side it the root you impose on your self when healing others.

This is a hard template to play because nearly every benifit is requires an active action to gain that benifit. What I mean by that thereis very little inate armor or other passive benifits, things like total heal and sap must be used at the right time to getthe most out of them, etc.

The only reason to play this template is if you like playing a healer or healer sake. Otherwise there are much better templates for almost anything you want to do.

I am a Master Force Healer.

If you want to be well balanced vs Jedi and PvE do not go Master Healer. It is waste of points and dabbling in healer will get you more in the other Jedi trees to make you more effective.

The only advantage to master box is an additional heal (and costly) onseperate timer than Force Heal.

Best dabbler healer temp 4240. That is all you will need currently from the Healer tree.

I still think M. healers should get a rezoption, but that's just me. maybe fill the other trees with a sort of force buff, like +20% health regen for 15 mins or something like that. or let a master healer's infusion last for 10 mins. Right now, that master box is not worth the 89 skill points it would take.

If total heal would just heal health, action and mind like the old days it would totally be worth it. But alas....

I found friends but with almost no addition of pve content they dropped out one by one. Now it's my turn.

I havnt played Master Healer, Master Defender

IMO, Master Healer sucks up alot of force, especially if you start to play with Total Heal.

Maybe having the static defenses in Defender reduces some of the problems with force that I have, but on top of Total Heal, 0444 Healer is more or less redundant.

I would put thoose 61 skillpoints elsewhere.
