Thread: Please, guys, stop saying you need to sacrifice to get cloak.

I understand that you all really enjoy cloak, i do myself, it's easily the funnest ability in this game, but please don't lie about it. It is one tree. That's it. My jedi jas cloak, and can wipe the floor with anybody, save a selectfew,in a one on one fight (or, atleast, she could before i've taken my recent month break) without using it. All you're doing issacrificing a single tree in defender or enhancer. The only escape abilites you sacrifice for are force run 3, and stasis, which requiresa full jedi profession. Please, just use more valid arguements, because the weaker they are, the less case we'll have against it getting removed.

Bullsith!!!! without cloak, I could ease get force aura or force armor.... We do sacrifice some, well dont worrie, soon 95% of the jedi population will be clones of each other..

Well let's see, I have one tree in Defender. That's what I gave up for cloak. The ability to have defenses worth a dang now. I might as well regrind or respec FOTM now. I've got a great idea for other professions too: Make them grind everything seperate. NO defenses unless you grind up your defense tree for all!

I sacraficed all defense not to get cloak but to get MP ML healer 4040.
Pre cu i was MLS MP healer 4004

One tree = 20 points. Cloak = 28 points. That 8 points does make a bigdifference.

I say it's big if they have no real defenses. Say they have given up Aura or ForceArmor, wouldn't you consider this a sizeable sacrafice worthly of at least being somewhat viable in combat? Adding a snare I can assure you does not make this a viable skill.

Better clones then cloakers.
The most common use for cloak is to gank at starports. Im sure a good nerf to cloak wont affect peoples ability to gank and grief in other ways.

even before there was a CU there was starport ganking, maybe we should put a snare on starports lol.

Yeah I never understood that arguement, gank at starports lol. This has been around before Jedi was even in the game. How in the world is nerfing Cloak going to prevent starport gankings? Do we all sign a truce to not stalk starports so when they load in we give them a one min head start to run?

Oh what a bunch of crap. It's more than one branch, I also have to get the pesky novice box. "Please dont lie about it"
It's not one "tree" it's a "tree" plus 8skill points for that stupid novice box. I could use those 28 skill points in a jedi tree i ALLREADY have an get way more for my skill points.
Cloak is a sacrifice, pure and simple.

I almost thought about Menhancer and MLS but I think I'll bother with MLS, enhancer 3402, healer 4000, defender 4040- just to be another one of those Jedi clones on good ol' Tarq.
