After about 20 pearls my saber was near perfect, pre cu obviously.
Right now even good crystals are as rare as water on Tatooine.
Quality crystals are pretty much gone and better doesn't exist.
So the question if premium pearls should return would be answered with yes by me.

im working my alt to jedi, 2 more unlocks. i can get 4 or 5 pearls an hour off krayts. she is MBH, MCM, 0004 pistols.
i think premiums should be returned but there is no way you can do it like it was. i can kill an ancient in 5 minutes w/o healing or anything. i don't think that something like that should drop an uber pearl.
I have 2 pre-cu pearls in my saber. One was a cheap tune, but is still better than what I can get now. My best pearl, was uber pre-cu and is still pretty uber (+110,-0.29,-9). It could only be better by being +120 I think. All my other pearls and crystals are below 61 dmg. One pre-cu crystal I have is like 61/-0.05/-7 so it finds a place in my saber (FC -7). Last post-cu pearl I tuned (good) was +51/-0.11/-3 or something close to that. Like I said, as I am still a paddy, it found it's way into my rcently crafted 4th gen saber. It is barely better than the pre-cu crystal I replaced it with. Almost no one will get a good tune so long as "good" pearls are the best that can be had. BTW, my pre-cu uber pearl was a prem or flawless (can't remember which)that I looted off of a canyon I think, might even have been a juvie. It wasn't a grand or ancient I know that.They have to put prems and flawless back into the game soon IMO other wise Jedi will be premanantly gimped. I expect them to do it too, once they get to it.
