Very common template these days. Well balanced, well rounded. Only drawback is Force Armor and it's force useage.

with +82 innate armor and about 700 m/r defense . . you aren't going to be healing 24 - 7 like a straight Master Enhnacer . . thats for sure . .

/agreed the only healing u would only need to worry about is force. but if u got a NICE saber made from MLS u should be able to rip ne BH apart u even get half force

This temp has far better defenses than a master defender. Period. I think this temp has near 10k innate armor. Master defender has 7k innate and force armor by itself is 6k innate.

armor break and force use is a huge drawback to this template.
it is hugely popular though, because it works.
like all templates, it is how you play it that matters in the end.

My temp is MLS, 3040 Def, 4402 Enh, 4000 Heal and i really like it a lot. Bh are no problem (since i learned to play this temp). If i get in trouble (2 0r 3 bh) i just fr2 (tatics). Yes it does eat up force but for that i have my good supplies of holocrons (have not needed them yet).
I just can't let go fr2 like other have.
Sometimes i give the bh the option to abort after the first incap, why because i am a jedi and like to be nice. You will see how many do take the abort option lol.
It's not a matter of who has the best skills it's a matter of who use's his skill best.

Haha,
I had this temp before people liked it... oh well.
It's a great overall temp IMHO. Realize though that any temp can be viable if you know your limitations and how to utilize your strengths. I would suggest that you get a template that you will like. Figure out what you want and play it.

What does armor break(AB) bring Improved Force Armor(FA) down to? Does AB drop it down to 3000?

this is THE best dueling template for jedi ... it is the most effective for that purpose ... also in PvP it is probably the most effective if you plan to stand and fight ... in PvE you can solo anything in the game so long as it does not one hit kill you ... i.e. DJM and DJS
