LOTRO comes out in a few months....turbine purchased the license of MEO when they saw that corners were being cut and figured they could do alot better than the previous developers....I'd imagine when lucasarts sees the success of lotro, there may be some communication between them and turbine...lucasarts likes money, and turbine knows how to make a good game out of a great intellectual property that bad developers were trying to screw up...it's a match made in heaven.

Well, I think SWG just hit its stable subscriber very quickly and I dont see LOTR online making much difference.


I'd like to know when thety are setting the game - what time period. I assume during the Third Age. Will everyone be Miar Istari in 6 months? But wait! there are only five Istari! The game is ruined! etc...
