Thread: Kotor Questions

I know this doesn't apply to SWG, except for the times like this when the servers go down for extended times.
I just finished Kotor, both light and dark from the beginning. My question, is Kotor II or Jedi Knight Academy as enjoyable (loved Kotor) Looking for something to play when servers are down or no internet access.

Both are great games Kotor 2 is just that bit better than Jedi academy in my oppinion... but by all means try both
Kotor 2 is just as good, if not better than kotor 1

both are fun time killers :-)
I found Kotor 2 more fun than academy, but that's because it's pretty easy to school the ai on some of the academy bosses.
I still play both though when I want to feel like a real jedi and not just a gimp with a glowstick.

Personally, I find myself going back to Kotor 1 even thought I have yet to beat Kotor 2. Its just far more enjoyable. As for JKA, awesome game IMO. Its playstyle is totally free, unlike Kotors. Plus if you take it online, don't know if anyone still does, its a lot of fun there too, unless you get into a match with sploiterz.

I prefer academy cos I like FPSes more than RPGs. Oh and it has some _really_ great maps/levels. Well, kotor has great ones too

I prefer KOTOR 1 and JA over KOTOR 2 because KOTOR 2leaves so many holes and unfinished storylines. I loved the gameplay, but I felt so unsatisfied after getting to the end.

I thought KOTOR is the better out of the three but KOTOR 2 is alot better compared to Academy especially if you enjoyed KOTOR

Yeah the gameplay was improved but the story was great even if the end was a bit disappointing

KOTOR2 is worth playing for Kelly Hu's (Visas) sexy voice alone.
She was the reason I went Dark Side in the game. Turning Mira to the Dark Side and having them both as my sexy personal guards was the icing on the cake.
