Thread: This is probably what they mean when they say that it will be different for every person.

What if a player would need to complete a string of events in no specific order to unlock his/her FS slot. If this were true then the path to unlocking the FS slot would be different for every person and no code would have to be changed. For example:Three characters are trying to reach Master Marksman, the names are character X, character Y, and character Z. Character X decides he wants to level by going from Int. Pistol to Pistol Spec. then change weapons and so on. Character Y wants to level by going from Int. carbine to expert carbine but then he gets a good rifle and switches to level rifle. And Finally Character Z decides to level all weapons Int. skills then Adv. skills and so on. In this example the three characters took 3 completely different paths to becoming Master Marksman but the end result was the same without any code change. Perhaps there are many "events" one must trigger to get a kind of "jedi xp" and when a sufficient amount of xp is obtained BAM! FS slot.

stbaker I have read many theories and yours is the most realistic I have heard. Of course, the devs never said what they meant by each person's unlocking being different. My theory as I said is what if you do good deeds to unlock it. This intertwine in a way with STBaker's so id say its some kind of hidden xperience system or something like that.

Good ideas stbaker, keep up the good work!

It's come up before (and it's what I think, myself)...

Particularly in light of the "recipe that probably guarantees unlocking the slot" comments, it tends to appear to be the most logical conclusion.

That said, it is beyond trivial for them to assign an in-fact unique, player-specific list of objectives that must be completed to unlock the slot.

This is my theory. All players have the same or different achievement score. soming like this.

player Y has a achievement cap of 100,000

player Z has the same achievement cap

player Y plays more then player Z

player Y hits his achievement cap before player Z which results in player Y unlocking his FS slot first thats why the devs say every one will unlock thier FS slot differintly.

achievement cap is how much did the player accomplish. like this.

player Y achievements

1 doing 50 missions

2 grouping 25 times

3 taking part in 3 monthly story's

4 meeting all the famus characters

player Z achievements

1 doing 25 missions

2 grouping 10 times

3 taking part in 0 monthly story's

4 meeting 2 famus characters

you see the more you achieve the more closer you are to unlocking a FS slot.
