Thread: Will lightsaber crafting be on par with KotOR2???

There's much speculation to the character build process being very similar to the KotOR2 system and the "moral choices" hint in this direction.

Anyone know if lightsabers will be able to have a new element thus creating a broader uniqueness to the "mini-game" known as building a saber?

I'm also betting that the lightsabers will only be able to accept a _single_ pearl/crystal.

Fyi: the new GUI looks cool and the intensity of ranged combat _does_ look very nice!! For anyone willing to hunt it down, I think IGN may have had a few videos of the new system ( I seen this last week and thought it was great!)

Reason: The lack of multiplayer pve content and Star Wars feel.
For 3 years I have tried to find excuses to stay in game but only the expansions offered me what I subscribed for in the first place: A multiplayer Star Wars pve experience with friends around the globe. I found friends but with almost no addition of pve content they dropped out one by one. Now it's my turn.

...had four or so streaming video availble and one in particular displayed the "new" system. Think of comabt going from "click....pause.....click......pause......click......pause.....etc....." to "click, click, click, click, click, click,,etc".

Being able to fire and endless stream of blaster fire is what we've been begging for. What's sad is that the develpmnt staff was unable to make this "combat" transition from turnBased into RealTime when the CU hit.

I'm just hoping there's a great deal of individuality in character develpment which allows for the finetunning of my characters abilities. I do not want to use a rifle and would rather focus my characters talents into the use of a Carbine!!!

Also, the skill development from KotOR2 would work well for this new system. Anyone recall the "white paper" which was leaked that detailed the removeal of ALL melee professions and allowed the Jedi to be a starting profession? It was leaked a little over a year ago...

I wouldnt mind the 2 crystals, 1 colored, 1 powercell, 1 emitter, 1 lense system they have in KOTOR2.

Allows alot more customization.
