Thread: What classifies a lvl 80 jedi ?
who will be a lvl 90 jedi ? is that part of our elder rewards or just any full template jedi ?
Any character level 80 whether Jedi or not will be level 80 in new system and be able to respec to any of the 9 classes they wish.
And 1 discipline master in Jedi will make you level 80 in the current system. Without a Master it take 4 Tier 4's and a novice box. You can also do it with like 9 Tier 3 boxes.

Seen conflicting statements on this.
One post stated that any character new or otherwise could get to level 90. Another post said it was a verteran reward and not available to new players.
Either way, it is not just Jedi thats for sure.

Will that banked XP be reset to zero or will it go towards furthering my level? I understand that I won't advance directly to level 90 with only 4 million XP as the gains should be very slow at that level. But I think it's got to be worth at least a CL or two. I mean, I've been XP capped for 7 months, so think of all the XP I haven't been awarded due to being capped.
Since the answer to negative XP was that it wouldn't translate over I'm betting banked XP won't either. They are changing the XP system to just three types and most likely the scale of what you need to advance will be different so the two systems are too different to combine.
Hey guys,
Any idea how CL 80 Jedi that have mixed templates will be handled? I'm CL 80, but I haven't used all of my SP in force powers yet?
Thanks.

It seems that your combat level will translate. If you're a CL 80 with Jedi skills alone, you will be a CL 80 Jedi. But if you were to take away whatever you have mixed with your Jedi skills, and that makes you say a CL 67 Jedi, and you choose Jedi as your new Iconic profession, you will be a CL 67 Jedi.
Did that make any sense?
Yeah, I'm sure you're right. I was just curious. It's not a game breaker for me, anyway. I pretty much just play to have fun and the levels will come with time.

Makes sense but its not what they said.
So far the answer seems to be that for combat players your CL is all that matters. If you are a CL80 you will be a CL80 in whatever profession you chose in the new system. Doesn't matter if you are Jedi or Rifleman
If you have any Jedi skills now you will get the Jedi rewards (Robe, crystal, glowie skill) (This has nothing to do with what CL you will be in the new system its separate)
Its less clear what will happen if you are a non combat but the answer seems to be that it will be based on your skill points allocated. Not sure how they will handle hybrids. Those are questions still to be cleared up.

I'm hopeful at this point. It will be a huge change. The combat system will be much less complex but if its fast paced and fun I think I can learn to live with it especially if it means better content, the hope of large scale battles and more time for the Devs to get the GCW back where it should be.
