Thread: So let me get this straight...?

I really would just like to clarify..I would rather not be flamed, but seeing as how that is going around a lot I would not be surprised if someone started on me.
So according to this new system, I should have just gotten my one or two first boxes in Jedi and just stuck it out there with TKM/Master Pike... instead of dropping both of those masters and trying to level up in Jedi. Now because I have dropped both of those masters I am in the middle of my Jedi grind and am hovering around 60-70 in Combat Level. There is no chance in hell I will be able to reach CL 80 at this point. I'm not really complainin, because there is nothing I can do about it now so.. meh. I just want to get some clarification, because if that is true that is very humorous to me.
It's a good things the devs aren't trying to make friends...
Well I don't see it as getting screwed out of my money. I don't play for this game to be a Jedi. I play this game, because I like MMO's. Jedi is just a perk or was. I totally understand why people would feel this way. However, it is a tad annoying that for trying to accomplish more (dropping regular profession skills to obtain Jedi skills) I actually end up with less then if I had not done any grinding at all.
I find it humorous, because I think it's a horrible strategy for game developers to take this far into a game's existance.

do you like working toward a goal (not jedi... in fact, at cancellation I was working on a DE) and then having the goal completely removed? That, sir, is getting screwed out of your money. Look at it this way: you pay $10 to see a movie. You get your popcorn, you sit down in the theatre, but instead of a movie you get me: wearing a thong and juggling flaming bowling pins for 20 minutes. You didn't get what you signed up for. and I'm not someone you wanna see in a thong.
The fanbois will tell you to s t f u cuz you're in the theatre and eating popcorn.... but it's not the show you came to see....
Alright well I feel for the people that are angry.. I do.
However, not to be rude, but does that mean Ishould not haveground out the Jedi boxes that put me in CL 60-65 at the current time and just stayed with my beginning template?
