I am not sure what a voritor from Dantooine would be doing possessing a Krayt premium pearl found only on Tatooine....wait...maybe the similar spelling may have somethign to do with this???
I am just kidding around, but I think one of your guildmates is really throwing the bs wide and far...until you yourself loot one, don't believe it!

Funniest thing I've seen Post-CU: 6 corpses around a bus on Dathomire surrounded by CL 287 Baz-Nitches on my way to the village to help a friend... Some DEV has a sick sense of humor.

While I would normally chide people believing that KRAYT DRAGON pearls would drop only from, yes you guessed it, KRAYT DRAGONS, pearls have been dropping off of Darktroopers at the Weapons Facility on Nabooa little while back. So you never really know when and where the dev'll screw up next. =/
You are correct...the progression must go something like this:
level 173 voritor kills, eats and digests the remains of...wait...what NPC could possibly be farming premium pearls, then traveling to Dantooine, being stupid enough to get whacked by a voritor? Maybe it was a Dark Jedi Master that got caught in the lag from the Mining Outpost, and the voritor caught him with his force down....
On a much truer note, my bh alt did loot a good clear crystal from a mark 2 days ago which tuned 60/60 -8 with -.05 speed. So all hope is not lost...

Watch out for those. I ran too close to a CL 198 boar wolf due to server lag (spawned only after I was on top of it). Those things hit for over 5k per blow. Expect a quick death unless you have a good root attack and can keep the thing at range.
