Thread: Question to the Jedi community

I hear alot about how cloak should be moved to the master box, and I understand that alot of you dont agree.
But how would you, the jedi, like this idea?
Cloak would work like BurstRun. You hit it and it lasts for 45 seconds-1 minute. Then there´s the cooldown timer of about 2-3 minutes before you can cloak again.
This would still give jedi a chance of getting away from BH´s. It would also prevent cloaked jedi camping lootdrops. It would make first-strike and ganking at starports/recruiters almost impossible.
I´m not a jedi, so yes, I am in the wrong forum. But since I hear alot of talk about this, and since you guys and girls are the only ones who use it....I thought I´d see what you think.
So...any thoughts?
And what do you propose to keep riflemen from camping loot drops? Most of the afk loot campers I see are riflemen. Or are you just talking about one specific loot drop, the DWB?

I wouldn´t mind if their Conceal worked about the same way. But then they´d have to be able to crawl faster of course
i dont have force cloak and it annoyes me when i get ganked or when im out hunting Jedi with my BH and they cloak. But i figure if a Jedi wants to spend SP on it and loose attack or defence abilities for it let them.
Stop howl for nerfs and let Devs fix the massive bug list instead.
my 2 cents...

a) Getting high-risk loot without actually taking the risks is an issue (DWB or Corvette, for example) needs fixing. A fix would be to make any interaction with loot boxes auto-uncloak the Jedi, just as attacking does.
b) Disabling base shutdown sequences without having to fight the attackers that initiated the countdown also needs fixing, also make cloakers auto-uncloak when they try. Require anybody trying to shut down a base countdown to be out of combat for 10 seconds straight during the process.
c) Assisting others (healing, transfering Force) also should uncloak a Cloaker
d) Apart from that, Cloak is fine as it is. People spent skill points for it, and those are missing in either offense, defense or healing.
Concerning your example of being ganked: Do not declare at a well-known recruiter. Declare at a faction base where the NPCs will protect you. Dont declare alone - SWG is a group game. It doesnt matter if you get ganked by cloaking Jedi at the recruiter or by a group of regular players when you load in to the starport you are travelling to after you declared.
Just see it this way: You wouldnt be declaring if you saw a group of opposing overts standing near the recruiter, you wouldnt be declaring if you suspected riflemen under cover nearby, why do you declare if cloakers could be nearby?

On the otherhand should for example bounty hunter need master ranger to track Jedi instead of their droids
Sounds stupid? Ofcourse it does, but it is a reply for such post.
