will i still be able to use my pearls in the same way when crafting a LS?
Should i get all mypearls in sabre's so i can forever tune them?
i read the archives 2 but im a bit confused, will we still be able to use pearls in sabre's after the revamp? if not i think i will use all my pearls up nowso they get grandfathered in the new system.

I am not a jedi and really have no idea what is a good krayt pearl. here are the stats on mine
130dmg min/max
-1.49 speed
2 wound
-7 force
light green

Is it a rarity for an Ancient Krayt to drop a pearl? Does anyone know what kind of stats to expect? Thanks guys.

Generally, a full spawn of 4 krayts will drop at least one pearl at 'premium' quality and anywhere from 700-1400 condition. Stats for premium can vary by extremes, but the ones I have found are in the -6 to -8 FC range, 40+ damage, ~ -0.35 speed.

Thank you for the response. What about the dropping off of an Ancient part? I have talked to a few Jedi and they had never heard of a pearl dropping off of an Ancient. I've also been told that on other servers the ones that did drop were usually flawless. Anyone out there ever gotten one off of an Ancient? Is it not as rare as I've been told? Thanks guys.

They will drop both flawless (very very rare) and premium. I have never looted a flawless from them, but I have looted premium from them.

Tuning Crystals/pearls are completely random...poor crystals can tune great, and premium crystals cantune lousy!

I just got two mor premies and was wonderigng what you thought would be the better addition to my saber a 108-.28-5 or a 118-.15-8. I figure the second is much better, but dps drops by like 25 cause of the smaller speed. But people say DPS doesnt matter anways, so i dont know.
I guess my question is DPS versus damage and a 1 lower FC (i hit cap with the -8).
