I dont usualy post in Jedi forum but just want to make one thing sure.
I see that most of our community lacks the truth about Pearl/crystal tuning.
So i am gonna reveal some info about it.
First of all:
There is NO tuning system in the game its NOT random AT ALL.
Every single crystal and pearl have just their stats hidden the moment u loot them. And stats revealed when u tune em.
Hope u got what i meant.
There is no random system.
How to proof this:
I worked with my brother on this issue personally.
There is some way to proof this.
Firstone: multiple tune a crystal.there is a way to tune a crystal multiple times like forever....but CSR warned me about this as forbidden (exploiting?)so i am not gonna tell how to make it.
Second one:Have your server's copy as Test Center and tune a crystal from your inventory if you can you will see that in real server it will give EXACTLY same stats.Ifppl are telling otherwise.....its urban legend.
To your information...
All that clear BH and wound meditate at shrine bla bla bla bla bla.....none sense...

It really doesnt matter if the random generator is running at the moment the looted pearl is generated on the corpse before you loot or when you are tuning - fact is, it is a pseudo-random generator, more than likely parameterized by expected value and standard deviation derived from CL.
But I heard reports of the same pearl tuning differently on live server and their TC copies. But as stated above, it does not matter when the randomness is introduced, only the values used as parameters for the pseudo-random generator and the chances of getting perfect tunes (which can be directly derived from those parameters) are relevant.
