Thread: Whats The Better mls/mdef version?
Hi
I would say nr 2 - you get Imp Infusion (a lot better then the first one) and you get Force run 1 which is almost a must.
My 5 cents.

lol he he ok.
you have enough skillpoints for these. but even if you get that imo you lack a lot of cool stuff.
so id suggest for example drop some defender but keep aura for sure. and get force armor and some other skills for example. or drop mls and get other cool skills with the free sp.

Out of those:
MLS / MDef / Enh 2000 / Heal 3000
Be advised though that if you choose to go with the MDef / MLS double mastery, you will lack either crowd control, healing, or Force management.
If you want an alternative suggestion: Most people think Def 4440 or Def 4040 / Enh x4xx is enough defense, and you will have a lot skill points left over that you can put into crowd control, Force management and healing.
Examples:
MLS / Def 4040 / Enh 3402 / Heal 4000
MLS / Def 4440 / Enh 3002 / Heal 4000
Number 1 is my favorite but you have to know how to play an have a saber with under 18FC, here is a quick little thing i posted on it awhile back
MLS/MDEF 3*** Enh, 2*** Healer
So far i have tried a fewdifferent MLS/MDEF template and this has to be BY FAR my favorite. However i would have to discourage anyone from picking up this template if they have a high FC saber, 20+ makes it very hard to manage force. This template is also VERY dependent on food/drink/spice, without it you will lose against many, but with it and the skills to use it you can be very successfully. The main purpose of this template is to be fairly well rounded in PvP, With all the defense mods of defender and the blocking from MLS, combined with the proper foods it more then makes up for the lack of advanced infusion and 1500 heals. WIth the 3xxx enh you are able to root and get out of a situation faster then without, also force speed 2 increases your speed DRAMATICALLY. Basically this is the true tank template. Uasuly in PvP you are in a group that has atleast 1 jedi with channel and transfer, so if you ever get low just ask for some force and i am sure they will comply.
Foods
Listed from most important to least with some rough descriptions and uses (sorry for all the spelling)
* Ruby Bile + 1200+ Stimpack: Instant stim use at the cost of around 16 drink fill,This is very needed for this template espicaly for JvJ PvP, without it you WILL lose with only 1000 force heals every 6 seconds
Blob Candy: Adds 160 action regen for 1 hour at 16 food fill , Great food to speed up action regen so you can use more specials. You will hit fast with MLS and force speed, so you need the action
Crispec: Adds around 70 melee accuracy for 15 min at 20 food fill, Great to boost DPS for about 15 min
* Exo-Protien Wafers: +25 midigitation for 20 seconds at 5 foodfill:This is another food that you use short term like the Ruby bile, with it it reduces each attack damage by 25%. For those high hitter jedi and swordsman i reccomend an auto eat macro to pump you full of defense every 20 seconds.
Booster Blue: +20%H -20% HRG +20% ARG +20% MRG spice: Very good for getting action regen higher, also adds to max health
Spiced Tea: +160 mind regen for 1 hour at 16 drink fill: Great to help use more heals, not very nessecary if you are useing stims
