hello all, grave here, and i have an interesting hypothesis for you all. if im stating something already stated i apologize, as i dont scour the forums as much as some do. but anyways, here it goes.

it is my hypothesis that premium pearls are the quasi Force Ranking System while the real one is turned off. look at what it does, it seperates the ever growing jedi population into castes;

team A: pre cu jedi full templated or almost. these are jedi who unlocked poss the origonal way, who still recieve the awesome beniefit of not only having a wider range of premium pearls at thier disposal but who also crafter the sabers themselves before the cu. they hit harder than the others, in any PvP, they have a significant upper hand.

team B: those jedi who unlocked close enough to the cu to have gotten thier grubby lil hands on some premium pearls. these jedi are tough, but when stood toe to toe with a pre cu jedi with saber abilities they will most likely fall everytime, depending of course on the situation, i.e. the amount of force the pre cu had at the time and other things that change with game play.

then there team C:post cu jedi, a massive herd of them, all grinding jedi xp in the groups without the vis that the other teams had to fight thru, thier road is alot easier but look at thier down falls, ive seen some of them loot krayts almost into extinction just to get ANY kind of decent pearls. stand them toe to toe with team B and they may have a chance, not likely, but just maybe. but stack one of these against a pre cu jedi? good lord, they might as well be fighting god.

they wont tell us when the premiums will start dropping again, and i think its because they cant figure out a way not to piss everyone off. if they redo the premium pearls to meet the demand of the sheer numbers of jedi then they are going to have to affect changes to all the pearls currently in game as well. when these pre cu jedi were the only ones they had a serious multitude of pearls to choose from, thier numbers were small. now there are over a thousand jedi on just tempest alone, if only one in ten premium pearls on the new ratio is supposed to tune well, then out of those thousand jedi,, a whole bunch of them are about to get thier prescius sabers nerfed to high ****. u think its bad now, imagine logging on and ur saber that that used to be up around 750 or even as low as 600 dps, both good sabers, tho each of those numbers falls at the top of their teams, 750+ for team A: and 600 for team B; imagine logging in and having that nice saber now do cruddy damage just because they reinstated premium pearls and had to massively lower awesome tunes to fit the growing community. it would suck, to say the least.

i guess basically, the thought i am trying to get across is this. quit yelling, quit whining, and quit pushing for something that they cant do. if they havent implimented it, its for an extremely good reason. why? because they dont want to make the entire community mad. there is a FRS, its just not what it was. im all for waiting and giving them time to do it right. because if they release it nerfed itll be a billions times worse than it is now. right now u have a chance to have a good saber. leave it at that and count your blessings.

anyways, this is only my hypothesis, and any and all thoughts are welcome. let me know what you think.
