its a question ... not a cry for a nerf, so to allthe BH's that check in here i'm just asking your opinions
while I was in AH last night getting beaten on by what seemed like an endless sea of Rebs ( good show in the end guys), I notice that im taking most of my damage from a Rifleman stood behind the rest of the rebs, naturally I want to eliminate the big hitters first so I run over and focus my attention on him, Just as it seems im on top of the fight, 3 reb jedi come over and help him out and before i know it, i see the bright lights of the cloner.
I then recieve a /tell from said rifleman saying " good fight man, shame i didnt get the Deathblow".......it then dawns on me that he was a BH, not an overt reb. Now, im NOT moaning especially as this guy was one of the Nicer BH's I have met and I whole heartedly agree with all the BH's that only know 1 Line of text along the lines of "You can choose to stay off the terminals" I Just wondered if it would be a bad thing for BH to show as a different Colour on our map AFTER they have initiated first strike - so they still keep their advantage ( you'll be able to spot the guys that havnt read all of this thread as they'll think im asking for a different color before they strike)
Just a thought thats probably been tossed up before, but I thought i'd ask

Don't agree, think it is fine the way it is. Keeps people on their toes more.

So then when ur in the middle of a huge pvp battle, you die, then clone and realize it was a BH that killed you.. you dont get a lil angry.

I have accepted the fact I will be hunted, and that I will die at the hands of a BH, its an intended game mechanic so why get upset? They can come at any time, any place which is an intended game mechanic. I play this game for what it is, not what I want it to be. Its part of the allure of being a jedi. No anger necessary.

tbh i hold my bh vs jedi kill death ratio very high.. you might not take pride in ur kills vs death raito, but i do. I have no problem fighting any BH but as it seems on my server... the BH's wait till the other people incap you then come DB you = loss of experince.

i'd be for this idea...as long as they turned orange only after engaging combat (which i do see you've stated)

pulleeze.
Learn to be wary of EVERY potential threat. If a Jedi cannot do at least that much....it is time to retire.
I love the chase, the fight, the strategy of being hunted, and always being on guard.
No color changes for anyone. Learn to play this profession and not be afraid.
Never run. Never back down. That is how you become strong. Take your xp loss as a badge of honor....that you will learn more from the loss than being in a house cowering.
Or stay off the terms. It is easy to do that.
